At Ello Puppet, health and wellness are always a top priority. We believe that healthy babies start with healthy mothers. For this reason, we’d like to remind women of the importance of health screenings—more importantly, reproductive health screenings. The Women’s Preventive Services Initiative suggests the age to start cervical cancer screening is 21, and Planned Parenthood recommends women should begin breast cancer screenings at age 25. Many other articles suggest testing for sexually transmitted viruses like HPV should also begin around this time. Regardless of your reasoning, it is always important to talk with your specialist—especially if you are concerned about any potential health issues.
